It seems every time I put on my wipers, they make noise. Even after changing the wiper blades. Is it what I am using to clean my windshield?
When it rains real hard or consistantly I dont get the noise, just when it is drizzling or when I get road wash from other cars, little bits of rain or water.
I've noticed with new cars they never make noise, even when the windshield is completely dry. How do I get that?

Which one would i need to change the one by the cadillac converter or the one by the exhaust. Also could my temp. coolant sensor be bad. If my car is running smoothly then once it reaches the half mark on the temp. guage , my car starts to putt.

I had an oil change and repair work done to my car because it didn't run right. I took it to a repair shop, they supposedly fixed it, but it still running the same and worse. I took it back, and even though I'm waiting on the verdict, I know they're going to pull the old "now we found the problem" routine and try to charge me again "to fix it" I don't think this is right since it should've beeen done the first time. How can I avoid this? Is there something I can say to make them fix it right without charging me?

When I took it to garage, the mechanic ruled out problem with the coils. Also the accelerator pedal sticks at first when the engine is cold.

the heads up light works but the 2 brake lamps dont. All other lights work, and no fuses blown and the filament doesnt appear to be damaged. Could it still be the bulbs?

I have a 94 Dodge Intrepid and it won't pick up speed when I go up a hill but when I go down a hill or if I'm on a straight stretch of road it will. It is burning gas really fast. Someone said it might be my convertor b/c the center console gets warm if I drive for a while. If you have any idea or suggestions please post them.

I have an 02 ford focus, and both the Haynes and Chilton manuals that I have are absolutely no help with details on the proceedure for changing the timing belt. In fact the pictures they show in both manuals look nothing like the engine in my car. It's kind of frustrating. Anybody out there have suggestions or sources of info, online, or where ever that might help?

This is not a smiple u-joint because all my u-joints are fine. The clunk occurs when i put it in first gear(std.) and slightly pop the clutch. I got underneeth the trunk and when i turn the driveshaft i can hear it making a noise in the the transfer case, i can turn the driveshaft about 25 degrees before the wheels start turning. What could be the problem. My idea was either that the rear end spider gears have worn or its something to do with the transfer case or clutch.

I have a 1999 Ford Escort XR2. I was going about 30mph and then all of a sudden it just started slowing down on me and came to a complete stop! It felt like I had run out of gas but I have more than half a tank. One person told me it might be a fuel pump? Any help would be great so I am not screwed when I get to the mechanic.

EX: I brought my 94 BMW 740iL in for a paint job and windshield replacement. The car is MINT! However, when the windshield was replaced, they did NOT put the Insp. sticker back on (it was a month old). They told me I was going to need 4 new tires (the ones on have only 11,000 miles) and rear brakes. Yeah, Riiiiiiggggghhhttttt. I took it to where I got it inspected and THEY replaced the sticker (nothing wrong with my baby) I went BACK to the dealer and they didn't CARE. I'm PO'd and very very sick of being taken advantage of just because I've got a nice car and female. Any mechanics out there care to discuss this??

Hello everyone,

My 1992 Buick LeSabre does not blow any heat anymore, (the fan works but no heat). The coolant levels are fine and I was told that I should try to flush the heater core. How do you do this? I know that I need to find the 2 lines going through my firewall, however I cant seem to find them. What do they look like?
