WIth companies now making hotrods out of the Morris Minors with the Rover and other engines, I thought this would be another alternative. It is the right size physically it seems. Any opinions?

Where are the grounds for the switches on steering column on a 1990 Camaro RS?
I'm told they are on column, close to bottom. What do they look like, and exactly where? Are they black wires, or what color? There are several connectors around column, but none at bottom of column. I know one connector is for diagnostic, one for instrument panel, and there seems to be one connector for airbag. I'd appreciate all information dummytized so I can comprehend, please. My wife wants to drive her Camaro, and we can't afford to take it to a real mechanic. please help!!

At the beginning of September, I had my serpentine belt replace (almost 100,000 miles on my car). Since that time, it has jumped off 3 times (as of yesterday). First, the mechanic stated it was the water pump barrings causing it, so they replaced my water pump. The second time, they said it was the tension spring, so they replaced that. Because it happened on a Sunday, I've not got an answer for this time, but WHAT COULD BE CAUSING THIS!!! I've already sunk almost $1,000 in it over the last 2 months and it's an 8 year old car!!!! Help, anyone who knows all about cars. This is a 98 Ford ZX2 if that helps.

at times when at idle the truck will just quit. It does not happen all of the time but i need it fixed. I was told it is either the computer or the Max02 sensor, it only happens at idle and the truck runs great besides. Can I adjust the throttle or does something else need to be fixed?

While driving on the highway, the car seemingly drops its transmission/clutch. It could not get into any gear, but instead just revved up with the gas pressed. I thought my clutch just went. I pull over and turn the car off. I tried to start it and all I get is a whirring crank. It tries to turn over but is having problems cranking. It doesnt seem likely that the clutch went at the same time there was an engine problem. What could this be?? My best guess is the flywheel, but I am an amateur and want to diagnose ths before ripping the whole car apart to find the problem.

My Jeep has been sitting up for a few months because the water pump went out on it, and I put a new water pump on it, and now it has this sputtering, missing sound when the engine is running. All gauges are fine, except the check engine light comes on but I have had a couple of folks tell me it sounded like a fuel issue. Any Help Would Be Appreciated!!!

Okay, I am getting ready to work on my truck and am looking for cost-effective ways to refresh the life of my engine's fuel injectors and don't want to send them somewhere to be rebuilt. I posted on a truck forum and was told a very effective and cost effective way to revive the life is to run them in some basic carburetor cleaner solvent inside a Ultrasonic Cleaner, like one that cleans jewelry. I have absolutely no reason to doubt my source, but would like some verification from an another source that this makes sense. I want to make sure that before I do this I ask around. Anyone heard of anyone using this method, and if so did it work?

I have a 1990 Volkswagon Jetta GL. It has major vibration at idle that drastically reduces upon scceleration. I also have noticed some blue white colored smoke a couple times coming out of the tail pipe. Hope it is not what I fear: a leaking head gasket? I clearly can not perform the compression check for it, is there any other way of testing for this problem?
