just involved in accident on the front right portion of the vehicle. after repair, the engine will have difficulties in starting up and will die off 2-3 secs later in idle.

Plugged fuel filter? Bent/crimped fuel line or hose?

If the check engine light is on, have it scanned. Mass air flow, throttle position sensors come to mind first. After that, cam or crank sensors. Good luck.

Take it back to who fixed it after the accident and ask them to fix it right

sounds like a bad alternator.
that whats draining the battery.
