I put about 6 litres diesel fuel in my unleaded barina. I asked them to cyphon it but a mechanic working at the service station told me to fill the tank with unleaded and the diesel will dilute and work its way out of the car. It was a bit smoky to start with, but then it began to overheat. Turns out the car was running water through the engine and it had only been running on 3 instead of 4 cylinders.THe mechanic and some RAC staff told me the diesel fuel could not have caused this to happen. I've just spent thousands getting the cooling system fixed is it because of the diesel this happened?

I have a 2001 Alero GLS Oldsmobile. When I turn my wheel and brake at the same time my car makes a whistle sound and it only occurs when I turn and brake. I have checked all my fluids and none of them are low. I haven't had my brakes changed in a year so I don't know if that is the problem, but I'm having them changed next weekend.
I also hear a clicking sound when I drive that increases with frequency when I increase my speed and decreases with frequency when I decrease my speed.
Any possible answers are welcomed and greatly appreciated.

I'm having problems with a 1999 Honda Accord V6 that just went through a full inspection for 90,000 miles, so everything should be good in it, except for a short circuit I've noticed in the wiring for the driver side low beam headlight. I've changed the bulb thinking it was bad, but I've decided it's got to be some bad wiring... Any hints on how to fix it or some other remedies?

What oil is recommended for a 1982 Honda Goldwing. I have always used a 10-40 GTX Castro oil and have always had good luck. I've never used any other oil and the bike only had 1800 miles on it when I bought it. The bike has around 45,000 miles on it now.

My car had some pretty cheesy go faster stripes on it when I bought it. I managed to get them off with no damage to the paintwork but it's left a sticky residue behind. How do I shift it without causing any damage?

I have a 1993 Pontiac Grand Am. My car was cutting off on me so I had the alternator replaced on 11/8. I thought it was fixed but when I woke up Saturday and was putting oil in it, I noticed my belt on the side of the alternator (I am not sure of the correct name) was hanging on the ground. I called ths hop where I had the alternator installed and they told me to bring it back in. I did that yesterday. Again, I assumed it was fixed. Today, I was driving it and it had the same symptoms as before, my service lights would flash and the car would stop and then turn right back on. Not really a stall. Also, the speedometer went all the way over to the max speed and was stuck there. I was too scared to drive it back home so I left it. Does anyone think it could still be the alternator or just bad mechanic work? Help!!!

My car struggles to accelerate, think about the Flintstones as they ran and ran and the car stayed put for a few seconds before it started going anywhere. My car jerks when it should be accelerating. But if I push on the gas hard enough for the transmission to change gears, then it is fine. You can imagine how frustrating it is to follow behind someone who is constantly changing speeds. MY QUESTION IS: what's wrong? Is it something that needs to be fixed? Is it possible to shift to a different gear to get it going, then switch back to overdrive?

I'm not wanting to take it to get it fixed because I have no money, so if this is something that doesn't need fixing, then I don't want to waste any money (that I don't have).
