If you don't know what the oil pan looks like or where to find it, it frightens some of us that you are trying to do anything mechanical in nature.

bitburger summed it up with undeniable eloquence , but try this , with a flashlight crawl under the truck from the front bumper , look up and that first big greasy thing about 8 inches wide and over a foot long ringed with bolts is the oil pan , it will have a "bolt" ( drain plug really ) at or near the very bottom of the lowest part, if you crawl further back the tapered thing with a 3 inch or so "pipe" coming out of it going all the way to the back is the transmission, that "pipe" is your drive shaft and where it ends is the differential, please DO NOT use a jack only to lift the truck up enough to get yourself under there NEVER trust your life to a jack!!!

Bitburger said it best if you can't find the oil pan you should not even touch the vehicle, You may even want to find a full service gas station so the fuel gets pumped in the right place.

Two no three options . Auto store will have the book for your vehicle . 2- library will have it too . or 3- look under truck for pan with a drain bolt on the side of it . thats your oil pan . good luck .
