ANY BODY OUT THERE TELL ME HOW TO FIT K&N AIR FILTER TO 1999 YAMAHA MAJESTY YP250. HAVE REMOVED AIRBOX COVER. OR IF ANY MODIFICATION NEEDS TO BE MADE TO AIRBOX.

have tried asking K&N but they were not very helpful.

It depends on which K & N filter you fit. There are the direct replacment type for your old filter that as it says goes in the same position as your old filter and retains the old air box, or the other type that you throw the airbox away and the filters fit directly onto your intakes.

dont do it, itll be crap, and wheeze itself to death with induction roar.. unless you rejet the carb and lift the needle to compensate.

some little slant eyed designer was paid millions of yen to design this part for yamaha... and i'll bet it works perfectly..so what makes you think some corrugated cardboard and a shiny chrome cap for 10 quid is going to perform any better...

believe me, it wont, and K&N products rarely perform as they say tehy will...

i remember when they came out, i put four of them on my honda, and i threw them in the bin, bellmouths work better..damn, no air filter works better than a K&N.
