I have installed a new radio, and now the instrument panel fuse blows. When I first installed it, the fuse wasn't blowing, but changed it yesterday, and now the fuse blows before I start the car, or when I started the car

It looked similar to boiling water, bubbles poping up. Is this normal? Does coolant actually boil? Prior to turning off the car, my temp gauge was reading normal.

this is my friends car. about one year ago the wire broke at the ignition lock cylinder. i bypassed the lock cylinder by installing a potentiometer that i set at the same resistance as the resistor in the key. it has worked fine until a couple days ago. i am having trouble finding any good diagnostic flow charts for this system. i did find a schematic and i see that aside from the starter interupt, the pass key module also has to send a 5 volt signal to the pcm to enable the fuel pump during cranking.
i tried jumping power to the the fuel pump primer connector under the hood and jumped power to the starter at the same to crank the engine(i also had the key in the run position to enable spark and injector pulse). that didnt work.i am running out of ideas.
does anyone know of any common problems or know any way to completely bypass the system?

On ebay theres these bags of powder that you mix with clearcoat and spray over a dark basecoat. After several layers you are supposed to get a chameleon effect. The powder sells for about 50 dollars, what is it and is it worth buying?

I just put a new a new drum and axle nut on it and it is still happening. According to the repair manual, it is not missing any parts. I tighten the axle nut as much as possible. The splines on the previous drum were worn, therefore it was loose on the spindle and wobbled. I figured a new drum would fix it. I put it on and it was a perfect fit with no play, then tightened down the axle nut as tight as possible. I drove maybe 25 miles and the drum is lose again. Whats the deal?

1993 Ford Explorer. I had to change the A/C pump up in the mountains after the clutch froze up and cut the belt.

My mechanic now tells me before he can re-charged the system he has to replace the dryer. Then he will evacuate and re-fill the system.

Total cost $325.00 but he’s gona do it for $250.00…

Does this sound right ????

Thanks In Advance

so i have a 92 chevy corsica that i just bought. it had been sitting for a year or two when i bought it. it runs well other than the fact that if i drive for over 10 minutes, it will cut off on me both while driving and coming to a stop. i've done an oil change on it already and purchased spark plugs for a guy to install for me. is there anything else it could be?

i was told it could also be the fuel pump...can anyone tell me what else it could be and the approx cost? and its a v6 engine.

I have a clunking noise from the front end when I back out of my driveway( as I turn out of the driveway in reverse). It also happens the odd time going forward and turning slowly at the same time. The only items not replaced in the front end recently are the ball joints and the sway bar bushings. Pretty much everything else is new.

Just a rough estimate would be okay, if anyone has had any experience with this, or if there are any mechanics out there =-) My heater went out on a 2000 chevy blazer.

The drum dosesnt come off like most it have a fairly lage bolt probally 1'1/4 in. but it apperars to be attached to a spindle and bearing. Do you need to take that off to properly change a rear wheel cylinder.

Will dual exhaust like flow masters, additives or air injection help? I am not expecting miracles, but I love the car but hate the gas bills.

I am having problems starting my truck. We have tried to change the fuel filter but it is still not starting. It will start for a few seconds if we add gas directly to the carburetor. The fuse is not blown, we checked that, the next thing we can think is the fuel pump, but we know neither where it would be or how to tell if it is working. Please Help!!!! Thank you.
