Stalling a vehicle will generally not harm anything, unless it is stalled repeatedly. Trouble spots would be heating up of the catalytic convertor, same as when push or pull starting smaller cars. Also if the vehicle is M/T it will after numerous times wreck the clutch. Hope this helps.

if the engine is stalling then there is something wrong with the engine, is there a check engine light, whens the last time it was tuned up????

Np, but if you have a manual transmission it is hell on your clutch
