You won't go wrong with a 50/50 mix. Use the good stuff (I use the Prestone silver bottle), though - too many aluminum alloy components in newer engines.
Remember that a good mix is important not only for its anti-freeze characteristics, but for cooling purposes, as well (anti-freeze lowers the freezing point of your coolant and *raises* its boiling point). It also lubricates the moving parts in your cooling system (really just your thermostat and water pump, I suppose, but still...).

50% antifreeze & 50% distiled water is what every car maker I know of recomends. Pure antifreeze acualy is worse than the 50-50 mixture recomended. Tap water is not recomended because if you have hard water it can cause mineral build.
