My niece had her house (apartment - no insurance) burn down with everything, and I mean EVERYTHING she owned, except for the clothes on her back, burned to a crisp. Now she and her two children are picking up the pieces of a shattered life. Last week she had her car impounded for outstanding tickets. She lost her minimum wage job right before her house burned down, because she was 20 minitues late getting work after dropping off her son at daycare.
You had a day day? I thought this very true story might help you gain some perspective. Chin up and be grateful. There is always someone worst off than you!

whole tire was flat not just the bottom half... The weight of the car made it look like that.... Everyone has had there days you could be sitting in a court room not knowing if you will ever get back out or not...That would be a bad day for me

You had a friend buy you another tire. It sounds to me like you're a lucky person. I've had rotten things happen to me,too. The difference is no one came to help me. I know lots of bad stuff happened to you and I'm sorry it did. I still think you're way ahead of me and many others. I hope that tomorrow is a good day for you AND you friend.

So, let me see if I understand.. nobody's hurt. nobody's killed. nobody has a life threatening anything. your insurance paid for your poor driving. you got a free tire. you didn't even say anything about getting points assessed against your license. Suck it up - that ain't so bad.

Go spend a day at any shelter for battered mothers in this country and then you'll realize what a great week it's been!

What's next? Your insurance lapses because you won't pay on time through the mail or check your tires regularly--so you have a flat tire on the way to the insurance office.

I have had days like that. I usually quote "could be worse, could be raining" from Young Frankenstein, but in your case it was raining.

Just try and relax, take a deep breath, laugh and pray that tomorrow is better :-)

Yes, we all have days like that.

Why don't you take a break, and take the bus for a day or two? Or train if you all have one. Let someone else do the driving for a change.
