I got a new air intake for my car instaled it and tried to start it but all it does is click it has plenty of power but it wont turn over IM FREAKING I NEED THIS CAR!!!!

1st question: I am considering swapping my 4.3 v6 out of my 1990 S-10 blazer for a SB 305. Should I do it or is it more pain than pleasure?

2nd: I will NOT do it myself, so has anyone done it before and how much does it cost (approximately)?

3rd: Anyone know anybody in San Francisco bay area that is reputable to do this swap?

I am trying to wire a trailer light adapter to my ford aerostar. I need a semi-detailed of the tail-light assembly. my brief look at the wiring showed me the tail-light and brake light use the same bulb, and there are 3 wires to it, 2 ov them being plain black and the third red with a white stripe. I need to know which to wire to the tail-light and which to wire to the brake light.

Just today I had to change a flat tire. Not a big deal, right? Well, it turnd out to be a huge deal! I just couldn't get the tire off! It was so tight that I didn't get the tire off but had to drive - with still some air in - to the next repair shop in order to have it taken off with the air gun or whatever they call it and have id fixed! Does this happen a lot with tires? Or just some?

ps I'm not the weakest guy but I just didn't get the thing off!!!

My mechanic just changed the ignition module and got the engine to stop micfiring, but the vechile is still idling oddly. Which was happening prior to the misfiring. He believes that is what caused the ignition module to go bad, but is going to get back with me tomorrow. I would like to know if anyone has any clue as to what this is? Thanks in advance for any suggestions.

when all is set up and i turn the engine over by hand, it turns about half a turn then jams sollid,could it be that the cam is wrong way round , or is it somthing else?

i have a 1993 nissan 240sx and it wount start and i just changed starter and the battery but when i try to crank it all it does is make a clicking sound which sounds like its coming from the engine and the negative battery wire starts smoking

I have a 52 inch toro mower with a Kawasaki engine on it , Checked the oil and it was low ,I put 1 qt in it and all of a sudden the oil started flowiing out the top of engine when I started it up , any one know if engine would still be good are did I blow it up

97 grand am has had 3 (soon to be 4 if you count the coolant pouring out of the heater core drain) heater cores in a year. first one lasted 10 months and every 2 months after. shop has been replacing them as a warrantied part ( not my problem) but i want to FIX the problem . The passenger rear door of my 95 jetta is unopenable. I am unsure how to proceed as far as getting it open at least once to be able to take the door apart and fix it. What should I do? the inner molding does not want to come off easily and I don't want to break it.

Can I use a booster? Do I need retrofit? Do I need the old kind or the new kind? My dad said after so many years the "freon" just gets used up. Do I have to check for a leak or is it unsafe to just boost it? Boost it or use actual ferigerant? R-12 or R-134 or neither?

I bought a newly used car (1999 Dodge Strattus) It had a warranty that stated the dealer would pay 50% of labor and 50% parts on Power Train. Two days after I bought the car, I noticeed a bad popping sound when you made the wheel take sharp turns. I called the dealer to let him know that the car was already acting up. He said to bring the car over and he would have it looked at. I dropped the car off and when I picked it up he said it was the steering rack. He made an appointment to bring the car in and have it fixed. Since then I have had my car in his shop 4 or 5 times to fix the same problem. Can I legally tell him to take the car and shove it and demand my $1900 and my 3 months of car payment back?

I was coming home and my car started overheating{1994 pontiac bonneville).When i pulled into the nearest station There was no water in there, my water pump gave way. Anyway, after putting water in the car the engine is now knocking really hard and idoesnt hardly want to drive.Can anyone give me any info, i would really appreci ate any and all input. thanks a lot.
