odometer started to flash and heard a chime.Then I pulled over and shut it off.Started it back up and it was fine all the lights went off.Then I went in a store come out and it did it again.What could be wrong with it.

Have the brakes checked. ABS stands for anti-lock brake system. It could also just be a shorted wire or sensor causing the computer in the cherokee to malfunction. Get it into the shop to make sure the brakes are in working order.

Speed sensor was a common problem with these Dodge products. Not too expensive. Good luck.

Seesm the sensor in the rear axle is wearing out, or going bad. Have to get it replaced.
