1982 mercury 5.0 rear main seal,is it a one piece or two piece seal?

I have a 1982 mercury 5.0 leaking oil ,on the door factory sticker has 6-82 ,can any one tell me if it is a one peice or a two piece seal

This is a 2 piece seal. You will need to raise the engine and drop the oil pan. After replacement, clean the journal perfectly and apply a very, very light coat of gasket eliminator. Bolt it back on and set the engine back on the motor mounts. Good luck.

2 piece seal, one piece came out in 83

Unless leak excessive would leave it be.
