Well now over the years I have bought a lot of things from them. Never had a problem except fit here and there and for the cost average guy or girl can not do better. They do have some crap but they also got some very good stuff you can not find anywhere else unless you spend weeks looking and pay lots more for it lol.

I know you can get up to 100% better parts else were and not pay shipping. It's up to you to shop where the parts are good. Hand money walk out with a part you looked at. J.C. Whitney sells lots of gimmicky stuff

I've had some bad experiences with them. Many of their parts have been poor quality. Others have taken months to arrive. At one point I tried to cancel an order after several months and they played all sorts of stupid games. I would usually stick to ordering things made by companies I already trust - IF I'm not in a hurry.
Their custom fit upholstery hasn't been too bad, though, and it sure is cheaper than having things done at an upholstery shop.

jc whitney stuff is junk and over priced...i would never buy anything from them....if u know what you want..look it up online..jcwhitney is just a has been old farts place.. if your looking for car stuff i would go to summit...i myself always check ebay first..u can get new stuff sometime for less from there....

Some of their stuff is junk, some is OK. Engine overhaul kits are OK, I bought the laker pipes for my Delorean Pinto project and they were not too expensive and look awsome. Their electronic stuff is kinda junky. Good luck.

most of the things i have ordered have been good there just slow getting it to you,,it took me 6 months to get some parts i ordered once,,and they kept sending me these little letters saying it was on the way,,any way i finally got all my stuff,,and it was OK,,about what i expected it to be,,but the time ,,was shame full,,i don't order from them any more,,i found a faster and better source,i hope this help,s.

they are good for simple things. not good for auto parts.
