I have a 1996 Jeep Grand Cherokee 4.0L inline 6 with 126,000 miles on it. Should I run an engine flush through it on my next oil change or will it do more harm than good?

I'm looking into a dodge grand caravan 1999 to buy as a second car. The overal condition of this car is all good, but one thing. When I opened the engine compartment, I noticed there are some rust and corossion over the driver's side strut tower. Being worried a bit, I showed it to a body repair shop. The guy, who is not verbose at all, just told me that he will not touch it and won't accept any liabilities by working on it.

So, please tell me how bad some rust on a front (driver's side) strut tower could be. Should I be worried about it? Can I do anything to repair it? Is it dangerous to drive in this vehicle?

Here's a picture of where the rust has happened:

I have a 2003 mercedes. today i took my car for brake service. i only have 33000 miles on my car. all i needed was front brake pads. so the service guy now tells me that i will need front and back rotors also which amounts to over 1 thousand dollars because they say my rotors are completely worn out. I drive mostly freeways and never really brake hard or anything? could it be true?

It shifts from 1st to what feels like neutral. Once car is going slow enough, jumps back into 1st. Happened on a hot day (100 degrees about), but still happening after on cooler days. It is NOT the VSS!!! The A/C was converted to R134A a few days before the problem occured (not sure that has anything to do with it). Any ideas or suggestions?

I recently (1500 miles ago) changed my oil in my 1996 Jeep Grand Cherokee 4.0l inline 6 cylinder with 126,000 miles on the engine and used a higher mileage oil with a 20W50 rating. With every oil change I add a fuel injector cleaner. But since this change I have been noticing my gas mileage has dropped significantly. My engine runs hot all of the time (210 on the gauge) and my region has been in and out of a heat wave for the last month or so. My question is, will the 20W50 oil hurt my engine, and would this oil cause the increase in gas consumption?

I have several hardened tree sap stains on my car that I can't seem to remove. I tried running my car thru a carwash, and after that failed I used Turtle Wax tree sap remover, which did not work either. What should I try that will work?
