It's OK to use synthetic oil in anything. The only difference between synthetic and conventional is that conventional oil is cut with ash and synthetic oil is cut with chemicals. The use of chemicals eliminates the grit that is in the conventional oils that comes from the ash. The grit puts microscopic scratches in the crank, cam, cylinder, rings, bearings, and other moving parts. Not terribly harmful, but the synthetic oil will help the engine maintain tight tolerances throughout it's life. Good luck, hope this helps.

Yes, but some seals can start leaking on older cars due to the excellent detergent properties.
