Before you do anything, you may have a dirty throttle body. Buy a can of throttle body cleaner, disconnect the air filter intake from the throttle body and spray the TB really well, you can't spray too much into it. While your at it,also get a bottle of Lucas injector cleaner,(it's for carburetors or injectors), and dump it in the gas tank. If it IS gas that's the problem, you'll notice the difference right away...if that doesn't work then do what these other guys said. GOOD LUCK..(:>)

Sounds like water in the fuel. I'd put 2 bottles of heat in it and try that. If that doesn't do it, replace the fuel filter. From there, best take it to the shop. This car has a 302 with a double bicycle type timing chain so that most likely won't be your problem, they last a lifetime. Truly sounds like fuel. Good luck.

Haha, i in my view requested a question like this a lengthy time period back. i assumed i grow to be the in uncomplicated words one which's driving grow to be effected even as listening to song. even as i'm listening to a actual rock out song from Judas Priest I have a tendency to force aggressively. in this time I holiday peoples' asses and swear out the window telling human beings to get the f*ck out of my way, yet even as i'm listening to some Beatles, I have a tendency to get out and help an previous lady flow the line after I see one waiting to interrupt down on the area walk. ok, some moderate exaggerations there (except the swearing, I try this each now and then lol), yet yea i really do force in a special way. If i'm listening to a not person-friendly rock song, I do force with my foot pegged to the floor, the position if i'm listening to some mushy rock, I mellow out and pay more effective interest to the surroundings round me. satisfied Friday! :)

well, it could be a lot of things. Are you getting a 'check engine' light yet? You could have issues with your throttle postion sensor (located in the throttle body), your idle air control valve, you could've lost compression in one of your cylinders, you could have a clogged cat. Provide more details to try and narrow down the options...as many things as possible.
