I have a 91' integra, if I get the parts from Acura, but I have a friend install them, I usually only dish out 75 for the brakes and 25 for the friend.
If I go to a dealership, or a shop, it runs me 250-300ish.

about 40 bucks to buy pads - but you don't specify - do you have disc brakes? are the rotors gone too? If you don't even know the fundamentals, you deserve to get ripped off by Midas.

If you do it yourself not much. Its not hard to change brakes on a civic.
If you go to a machanic he will dramatize and charge you twice as much.

it would be alot cheaper if you bought the parts and installed them yourself. The library has books on how to fix anything in your car.
