DONT LISTEN TO JERZYDEVIL!!! verify what type of Ujoint it is first, if its 4wd, the front will be clips more then like but the back will be secured in place with melted plastic.
GM uses a plastic resin to hold the ujoint caps in.
you will need to heat the yoke with the propane torch till the plastic pukes out of the little holes on the end of the yoke first BEFORE you can press out the u joint.

otherwise you will waste your time, break the yoke, and demolish the socket.

Remove the drive shaft, find a socket that fits inside the yoke on the bearing cap, remove the clips on the inside of the yoke, hang the yoke off of the tailgate or workbench, grab a big friggen hammer, put the socket on the bearing cap and hit it until you get it loose. But just watch out for your fingers.

Listen to jerzydevil...he's right on the money. Just be sure to remove the lock first. Could be inside or out. Only one or the other though. And when you put your new one on, do not loose any needles. Be careful. Good luck.

Save yourself a whole lot of trouble and take the drivetrain to a machine shop to have them pressed in. You'll be glad you did.
