around $500 to 700 depending make and model of your vehicle. This price include water pump replacement too. Most place would highly recommend changing out water pump at same time of timing belt cuz if water pump fail later it would cost the same to do it later.

You in America?
It varies greatly depending on the make model.
Over the years i replaced one on a Pinto, one on a Mustang. For the price of the chain and a little hard work. But the one on the 928s was gonna cost my left arm and right leg.
Labour is the killer unless you do it yourself.
It should only take a day. Make certain whoever does it has the parts on hand and dont let em bullshit you into extra ****. If you have a Honda or similar.Remember you can pick up a whole Mtr for under 600 bucks.with less than 30,000 miles on it.
