hi, im driving a 99 grand marquis, if i put 20 inch rims on it with low profile tires will da tires rub or no. in other words, wuld i have to install boosters on my ride or can i just ride on da 20's?

No, the 20" tire and wheel combination will not rub on a factory suspension.But keep in mind that you will give up ride for looks.The car will ride slightly rougher,and you will be most likely to damage the wheel hitting a pothole then if you had the factory 16"s.The recomended size of the tire,by the Plus Sizing Guide, is 245-35-20,but the slightly taller 255-35-20" will work,and look better.If your priority is ride over look,then you should go with an 18".It will still look sporty and your car will ride smoother.If not 20s will definitely work.

you would need very low pro tires to save them from rubbing against the wheel well. boosters make the car look too hillbilly-ghetto. gotta have some class if you're rolling with 20's. don't make it look too cheesy otherwise what's the point? initially the low pro's and 20's will fit in the wheel well fine by themselves. if you find that they are rubbing too much then you might want to consider some coil overs or something like that.
