Headlights on and start- click- do headlights fade away? New battery time...
The clicking sound is your Solenoid(electrical switch for high current contacts) working... although contacts of switch may be worn out.
Usually battery will have enough power to engage(start) solenoid switch(click) BUT not nearly enough to turn starter(no turn over).
If it starts with a jump then your battery/charging system should be checked. Battery at rest(engine off) should read 12 volts.
Ten volts or less you NEED new battery.
Your problem is unrelated to your new intake(unless it turns over and doesn't start).
Good luck let me know if it helped.
PS You didn't say how you know you have plenty of power???
And for any of these questions the more info the easier the diagnosis.

1st check connections on the battery one of them is probably loose . Starter solenoid depends on the vehicle . Trace the positive battery cable . If it goes to a round or square object on the fender well that's it . It should go to the starter from their . Some solenoids are on the starter in some vehicles . good luck

There was probably a MAF sensor on the intake that got unplugged. You may want to try putting all of the old parts back on it. Sounds like you have a bad starter, bad fusable link, or a wire pulled loose. Good luck.

hit the side of the starter with a hammer not real hard sometimes they stick and sometime you can free it up by hitting it. The bend ex in the starter is what is stuck

check all your electrical connections, make sure that they are not only just connecting but are also free of corrision and tightly connected
also hook some jumper cables up and get a freind to jump start your car, your battery might be low on juice
