My car may need motor mounts. Following instructions, I started my car, held down the brake while giving it a little gas. The motor rose up, more on the right side. Am I on the right track? Is this a big job? Is it expensive? Thanks

I have a 2001 Pontiac Grand Am and the only number I know dealing with the engine is 3.4 I believe.

Today I drove it to the store without any warnings or previous problems of it starting. I went to drive home and the ignition kept turning and turning but it wouldn't click to start up. You could feel it trying to start a little bit but it never made it.
All of the fluid levels were sufficient and I had a half a tank of gas in it. The only problems I ever felt with it were sometimes when I was speeding up or it was about to shift gears on the highway(its automatic), it would stall temporarily or miss a little bit.
Anyone have any ideas?

I have a V-6 98 camaro, for the past 8 months I seem to have a problem with the idle. During the past few months I have changed the spark plugs, fule filter, cables, air filter, battery, altinator, fule cap and I cleaned all connections, not to mention I sprayed air intake cleaner into the intake itself. Yet I am still having the same problem. The strange thing is it ONLY happens when I first start the car and come to a complete stop. When I do so the alt. gauge drops from 13.5 volts down to 6-7 volts and the car idles rough. However, when my foot is on the break and I accelerate to 2000rpms, the problem goes away until I come to a compleate stop or have parked for more than 3 hours and it start all over again. Any ideas? Could it be the ERG valve? I ruled out the idol control valve as well.

My truck is an unsafe vehicle sold to me based on lies from small dealership. I have a lemon law case, but I can't afford to pay an attorney for representation. Can someone help me with this?? My truck has almost gotten me killed twice because it just dies out. The dealership is playing games with me. It's now at the dealership's mechanic, but I know it can't be fixed because the parts they need to make it a safe vehicle aren't available anymore.
