blew the main fuse maybe, fuel pump fuse, damaged the ignition module, killed the pcm.........

Check the wiring attached to the starter solenoid. If one of the wires appears to be swollen and/or slightly burned. The swollen wire is most likely a fusible link. A fusible link is a section of wire placed in strategic locations in the wiring harness to prevent fires. When overloaded the link wire melts inside breaking the circuit without shorting to ground. If you find that you do have a blown fuse link you will need to cut out the bad section and replace it with a piece of fusible link wire of the same gauge size. Do not replace it with regular wire. You can pick up fuse link wire at your local NAPA store in 10' rolls for less than 10 bucks.

it will burn the alt. the regulator it will blow the fuses not the ones under the dash check the relays under the hood it will be on the drivers side it is a square box with a lid on lt you probably blew the the fuse to the electrical system this is a saftey feature in case the vehicle get a overload you should not have hurt anything but you are lucky i have seen batterys explode from this

If your lucky you probably blew a fuse or fusible link.
Turn the key on but don't crank it , if the check engine light comes on ,' most likely the computers ok.
Check all fuses
Next check for spark and fuel .

first check for spark and then check for fuel spark and fuel make the car run it dont take alot of common sence to figure that one out

you might have fried something. start checking all the power wires and fuses for the fuel injection system.

is it trying to turn over or just clicking? if its just clicking u need to let the car that ur trying to jump it with run for awhile before you try. if its trying to turn over but isnt try checking the starter, or the distributer.

It kills the onboard computer systems. Probably a costly mistake........good luck !
