Just not enough information to take an informed guess.
Sounds like the battery is OK.
Do you have gas?
What kind of car? (not a little red one)
What engine? What year?

It may be your battery. Batteries for cars last four or five years and my quess would be that the battery is the one that came with the car. Now do you have a trickle charger. If you do that great, charge the battery over night. If the battery is bad the charge won't work. If the engine still cranks but the engine won't start. Turn on your headlights and have someone watch them. If they dim real low, again the battery is most likely bad. I don't think your a mechanic , so what you need to know, todays cars need 10.5 volts when cranking to work the electrics. If you don't have 10.5 volts when cranking, it won't start. Good Luck Mark

truth fully it could be anything,,especially if it was running goof before this happened,,i would check,,and make sure it is getting gas,,then check to see if the plugs are getting fire,,if all this checks out good,,it may be vapor locked on you ,,if it real hot where you live,,this is a condition caused y severe heat,,and what it does is cause an air lock in the gas line that will shut off the gas supply to the engine,,you can fix it by removing the cap,,and try starting git,,if it starts put the gas cap back on,,it may do it again,,depending on the temperature where you live,,,, i hope this helps,,i have been a mechanic for 35 yrs,,now i help people who really need it,,maybe this will fix it,,good luck with it.

First, shoot some starting fluid into the intake. If it fires, then you have a fuel problem. If it does not fire, you have an ignition problem. For a fuel problem, check for pressure...start at the pump. For an ignition problem, you'll want to take it to a mechanic. It is possible that the passkey is bad, just a guess. Not enough info for any more. Good luck.

I would need some more information...like what type of vehicle do you have? What size motor is it? Is it fuel injected? Just from the top of my head here are a few things you may want to check out: It may be your fuel pump, fuel filter, coil, not getting gas or not getting spark.

If the car is turning over properly, it's going to need spark, correct fuel pressure, and compression. Figure out which one you're missing, and start diagnosing there.
