Since BP is shutting down the pipeline in Alaska I think we will see at $4 per gallon or more by winter. The price of everything will also rise due to shipping and operating cost for companies.

well with the thing in alaska and if a huge war in the middle east breaks out projected gas prices could reach $5 to $6 dollars a gallon

I think $3 per gallon will be the norm for years to come unfortuneatly. There is no real shortageof oil , or disruption in oil supply even with the wars that are taking place, so costs to manufacture or deliver the oil is not drastically higher. this is evident in the HIGH profits Exxon and others just reported.

I just asked the gas station attendant (I'm in Michigan) and she said it'll probably hit around $4.00 per gallon with no problem. I seriously doubt we will see anything below three dollars a gallon after this.

about $4.00 per gallon in the near future and that is because of the war and know because they have to close where the gas is so they can clean the tanks

You need to include a time limitation...

Like, how much will gas go up by the end of next year. Otherwise, inflation will drive it up until it is replaced with cold fusion (sic).
