Hello, I am wondering, was this car diagnosed with a bad TBS sensor? or are we guessing? What are the symptoms you are having with the car?

First off. Go check if the engine/service light is lit up while your running your vehicle. If it is, then go to autozone and ask them to hook up to their "computer" for a free diagnostics. The codes then will show if it really is the Throttle Positoning Unit, or something else. I have this problem only sometimes then it goes away. It's going to cost my cavalier $15 more or less. The labor, on the other hand, will cosy over $150. I'd advise you to check it out first off.

when it comes to parts like that you dont really want to buy one from a junkyard because you might be buying one that isnt any better then the one you have already.
Check auto zone and advance auto. dont know if you have tried the dealer sometimes you can get stuff cheap there. one more thing do you have any friends that work at a auto shop. if so ask them very nice if they can get you one at there cost sometimes that is cheaper too and you dont have to pay tax on it.

I find it hard to believe that this part is bad.
Get a second opinion on the "Diagnosis"
If by chance it is bad ,buy it directly from the dealer.
This is not something you want to gamble on.
