last night when I was driving my 95 aerostar van my brakes started to grind when I would try to stop. the more I drove the worse it got. It was very loud and sounded like scraping metal. Well I got scared and just pulled it into a parking lot. What is wrong with my car? and can I make it to a car repair shop or is it not safe to drive now?

yesterday i was driving and i accidently went over this curb/divider... my car jumped like hell but nothing happened to the bumper.. but 2 parts from uner the car got messed up.. one of them got dented and the other got moved from its original place... here are some pics of them.. and would it be expensive to fix them?

It has 20 inch wheels on it and a heavy subwoofer box and the battery in the trunk which makes the rear tires rub. I've got these rubber things called coil spring stabilizers that you're supposed to just stick in between the coils of the spring. Are they safe? Can they be used on a 2006 malibu?

the tercel was driven by a little old lady and only has 138,000kms on it and was always given premium gas(which is silly)

when I just drove it for 30 mins on the freeway and then parked for about 20 minutes it was hard to start and I had to floor the gas pedal for it to start. when I got home after another 20 mins on the freeway at 70mph I turned it off and immediately turned it back on and it started easy. It is a warm 85f day.

it is a 1988 toyota tercel 4 door with the hatchback that is almost vertical. it has a 4 cylinder 12 valve engine that looks like it has a carburator (round air cleaner on top). the spark plug wires look very new.

what commonly causes this? is there a particular filter or sensor that is dirty?

I bought a large tool set from sears that came in a case, but when i close the case all the sockets fall out of place anyways. I need a better way to organize them so I dont have to look through the pile everytime i need a certain socket.

my 96 camaro convertible top needs fixed. the canvas is being replaced, not the head liner, also the window in the rear, and the convertible top frame. heres the question how much?

1. new canvas top.
2. new rear window.
3. i alreay have the frame, just need the shop to install it.
4. labor to pull out the old fram&top
5. labor to put it all together and fixed.

can anyone guess for me? thanks

i've changed the spark plugs it seemd fine but on a really hot day it has to be bumped to get going, up until this really hot weather the cars been so reliable!

I'm not talking about semi trucks, but regular sized ones (Dodge, Ford, Chevy, etc.) They put out soooo much black smoke. Why do some states allow them to be exempt while other cars and trucks that run on gasoline have to be clean burning? Doesn't seem fair.

I was wondering if anyone can help me, I am having trouble with my car; it’s a MK4 VW GOLF 1999 T Reg Petrol; when I am slowing down the engine keeps stalling (engine cuts out). Does anyone know what’s wrong with my car, I have been to 3 or 4 garages and no one seems to know what the problem is.

My truck's battery went dead overnight due to the keys were left in it with the radio on. Can you walk me through the process start to finish? Which cable to which terminal? Attach to which vehicle first? Should the other car be running before attaching cables or not?

It's the belt that goes around my alternator. I've tried decreasing and increasing the tension, but it didn't help very much, if at all. Should I get a new belt? I've changed it before on my truck. (For different reasons)
