any suggestions as to how i repair the exhaust pipe to the convertor.the flange bolt that connects the 2 rusted off.

I have a 2004 Trailblazer and lately whenever I start my air conditioner it smells like stale water or something really nasty. The smell comes out only for a few seconds. This has never happened before. Does anyone know what it can be or how to fix it?

we used in our home cars from GM, Ford and Dodge and they all suck, many malfunctions and really stupid ones, materials for the interior are really bad.

Now we buy Japanese cars and European and it is such a relief from going to the serivce every few months and sending E-mails to Detroit camplaiging about their crappy cars.

I just had my head changed. the oil is not leaking on the ground. I had all the gaskets changed. i had the spark plugs changed and wires. I lose power when I first drive the car. the rpms go down and I have to push the gas more for a few secs then its ok. but I am losing about 2 quarts of oil every few days and I am not going far at all. the oil is black and it was changed after the head was changed. its only been 3 weeks. I have just invested a fair amount of money in this and am at my wits end. I have only gone about 450 km since the head was done. (put it this way the car was running better before this big repair and the oil was going in my rad and the head was cracked. the car never over heated and it ran like a charm,) now I hate it. I know i have to go back to the mechanic but I wanted some advice before i go , I think the head is faulty. the oil is burning off some where. I saw one big puff of white smoke then no more. my engine in idle sounds like a disiel. not loud though.TY

Temp. gauge is normal, bled system, & changed the thermostat.

my window on the drivers side of jaguar s type four door left me hanging. i got the door panal off but have no idea what is inside. i can reach in and feel a small cable with a spring on the one end. is there some certain way that your supppose to get inside of this panel and repair the window unit. any thing would help.

I have a 2001 toyota celica and I dont know too much about cars, but I'm totally capable. I've watched a friend change my spark plugs once and it wasnt like any other car, american car I guess you could say. Anyone know where I can get a step by step process on how to change them so I dont mess it up...thanks!

I HAVE A BAD STARTER, AND I CAN REBUILD IT, IF I CAN FIND OUT WHERE I CAN BUY THE PARTS. CAUSE THE CAR ISN'T WORTH SPENDING $150.00 FOR A STARTER. I was installing a new stereo in my car and when I was putting the ground wire to the ground strap, my interior lights went out. If I turned on the ignition, they would come back on. Basically nothing "power" works unless I don't have the ignition on. (Lights, power locks, etc). I checked the fuses and none of them appeared to be blown. Also, the stereo doesn't work, but all of the wires are connected correctly, so I'm not sure if it has something to do with the lights not working or not.

It is a 2000 Plymouth Grand Voyager.

My 300 Cu. In. Ford engine runs on propane. While I was going up a hill and on the freeway the other day it had significantly less power than previously. I changed the intake manifold gasket because it looked cracked. There is a Clifford head on the engine (I don't know if that makes any difference). If I stand on the gas pedal, the engine doesn't get any more gas than normal. I also checked the throttle linkage and that was fine and tight. I also had the transmission guys check out the tranny and it's fine also.

The system is only about 2 months old, so I don't think anything should go wrong with it...help?

about 2 weeks ago aamco sold me parts for my car that i was told later by the dealer i did not need.i called aamco and the owner said "sorry, too bad" --well bad atitude--
should i send him this???

one motor is a Japan made chevy 4 cyl DOHC and one should be a honda v-tec 4 cyl both have borg warner T-5 ---5-SPEEDS should i belive it is only a different wiring harness,both are fuel rail injection as well, I want to change to another motor type because the isuzu or japan chevy only around 17mpg and not built well and most die around 70.000 miles my 1998 is dead, but very nice to look at, WHAT TO DO?????HELP....

i was thinking of painting my car black and i want to do the outside where u sand it down then apply the primer or whatever goes first then i would apply the actual paint then i would apply the shine paint but i jus want to do that to the exterior i dont want to do that whole process with the door jambs so what i was thinking was if i could jus apply a black spray paint on the jambs and everything would that be ok? and about how much would it cost me to do this all my self?

year 92, actualy I don't know may be it's not a refrigirant at all. My AC is not workin, it's blow but the hot air even though u put it on cold, so I don,t know what to do. If One has the pictures of the comressor and the hoses and all system of cooling - I would realy appriciate this.

My Ford Tauras runs fine when you start the engine but when I shift into gear nothing happens,it want move.I drove the car out of town and everything was fine got to a red light and stop and when I went to take off my wheels spent in place and car would not move at all,no matter what gear I put it in,please anyone help,I want to know could it be transmission gone out or just some wheel problems,please anyone help,I thought that if your transmission is gone out that your other gears would still work except reverse,but no gears work in my car so could it be something else?
