Three years or 30k miles, find a owners manual and check that. most people wait 100k and then wonder why the trans is not working. So you are doing a good thing.

I have seen transmissions last 200k with no service and keep on going. but maintenance is a very good idea.

Ford doesn't have a recommendation on the service but best bet is every 30,000 miles or so and go to a place that will put Mercon V (it's a type of transmission fluid, not a brand) in there and not like most quickie lubes that put additives to regular fluid and send it on it's way

Depends where you drive
Hyway driving 30,000 miles

city driving 20,000 miles

To ADD;

Tranny fluid might hold up well
But your changing the fluid to get rid of the dirt,clutch dust and crap that plug the valve body
Also the filter to keep a strong flow of fluid
It doesn't take much to reduce the flow of fluid in the valve body

So keep it changed often and you will have many miles of damage free driving

at least 100k. these vehicles use a lot of synthetic fluids these days and dont require regular changes like those of the past. but even the older vehicles, ive seen 150 to 200k miles really common on a transmission

every 30,000 miles, use Mercon V fluid. If done at 30k and you use BG products they offer a warranty for the trans check out www.bgfindashop.com

25,000 to 50,000 miles. I agree tranny fluid holds up pretty well.

Read your manual, geez. I think you just wanted to tell everyone what vehicle you drive.
