I have a 2001 Jeep Grand Cherokee, that last Autumn the air conditioner went out. I took it in to a local dealer, and was told that the condensor was "bent" and had to be replaced. In addition, to access the condensor, I was told that they would have to "take off" the front bumper. Doing so would require at least a $1000 repair bill. I decided to pass on the repair since I would not need the air condition over the winter. I do want it fixed for this upcoming summer. Is it necessary to remove a bumper to access a "bent" condensor?

I have a 1999 jeep grand Cherokee 6cylinder with 146k on it. I wanted to have my tranny fluid changed but dont have any record that is was done. Jiffy lube told me not to change it if i have no record of it. I therefore only have my axle differentials changed and have an antifreze flush, both fluids were terribly dirty. I'm nervous the tranny might be that bad too. The car runs great but should i change it or leave it as it is for now. HE says if i change it, tranny might start to slip, maybe but if i leave it, isnt going to get worse anyways with all that mileage??

I have the wiring, and the amp, and the subs....I decided that I want to keep a stereo system in during the winter months. Is there a place in the firewall to lead wires through to the cab? IF not, where have you made a hole for the wires, and how did you do it? Thanks in advance for reading this and your input.

When starting my Jeep, the engine will spin, like it is going to start, for about 8 or 9 seconds, before actually starting. It always starts and does not run rough or sputter. Although, if I turn the switch on off on off on off, it will usually start up quicker. Is this a fuel filter, fuel pump, or fuel relay issue? It runs fine, but it's just a pain if I am in a hurry. I can hear the pump running and it has never failed to start, but, I have owned this Jeep for 3 years and have had this problem the entire time. Also, is the filter located in the tank? I can seem to find it in-line anywhere.

I think I might be losing pressure in my fuel system. I would like to know exactly how to check the fuel pressure. I heard to hook up a fuel pressure gauge to the "fuel rail," but am not sure where the fuel rail is.
