Located on the driver side of engine by the transmission bell housing, held in place by 2 bolts. On the 4.0L Inline 6. On the V8 its located by the exhaust manifold on the passenger side held in place by 2 bolts. Crank position sensor is located on the back of the engine between the engine and transmissionin the bell housing on the same side as the steering column

Go to the parts store and tell them your engine size and the year of your Jeep and they should have one. If not then try another parts store. I don't recommend buying one from a dealership because they will cost you out the ying-yang.

if 318 or 360 v8 it is best to lower crossmember for transmission and let hang [loosen fan shroud and remove dist cap, rear drive shaft and drain t/case] then from underneath reach up with left arm to reach bolts [this is a particularly hateful job] thank god they don't fail very often.and if i remember right they use a torx socket

i dont no what part of the world ur in but in us go down to auto parts store ask for part give them yera..make..model they get part off the shelf and wala you go home and sprnd many hours of fun installing part //good luck
