My 1998 TJ has a bad rain water leak, is there a door seal kit, or has anyone experianced other places it my be comming from ? I have a hard top on at present.

call up your local dealer ask them and theyll hook you up with a lot of knowledge and you can buy from them too which i would do that way you have the correct seals and what not that you would need. your probably goin to need door seals which it should have all cars do or you may even need a hatch seal if its leaking from the back. again call them up or even go down there and see if theyll check it out.

if your seals are in good condition you can build up the gaps where the seal doesn't make good contact. first clean area where the gap is then mix up some paste type 2 part epoxy and build up the area. now put some Vaseline on the seal where it will contact the epoxy so it wont stick during the cure time and close the door once the epoxy cures trim any excess epoxy and that leak should be taken care of.

Water leak? check under the dash on the passenger side, you will see water coming in by the heater and battery case. Seal the leak with silicone, that should resolve the problem.

Waterleaks also come in dash and windsheild seal check that as well.

yeah when you had the soft top on the rubber sealing has become hard with the sun,you can use bicycle inner tubes to re seal it thats the cheap easy way.or get it re sealed

here in the USA id tell you that water leaking on you builds character and make you a man but since your already crying about it just pay the man and have it fixxed
