Owners manual says to put the transfer case handle in the neutral and the transmission in park.

You can actually tow your Jeep on all 4 Wheels without a tow dolly, by simply placing the transfer case in Neutral and the transmission in park.

ya you can tow it but like the other guy said i would check the manual or with the dealer and get more info. but all you would have to do is put the transfer case in neutral and the transmission in neutral and you can tow it simple as that i dont think you have to take anything off but thats why you would check the manual and or the dealer.

If it's 4 wheel drive with a true neutral position, probably. If you pull the axle or drive shat on the rear wheels which will be rolling, yes. Otherwise no unless you want a ruined automatic transmission.

yes if its an automatic transmission disconnect the drive shaft.if its a standard its ok as is.

yes but put the transfer case (the lever for your 4H and 4L)in neutral.
