I think I might be losing pressure in my fuel system. I would like to know exactly how to check the fuel pressure. I heard to hook up a fuel pressure gauge to the "fuel rail," but am not sure where the fuel rail is.

The fuel rail is on the drivers side of the engine next to the valve cover and runs from the front to the rear of the engine on top of the fuel injectors. It will have on it a schrader valve(tire valve) sometimes it willhave a valve cap on it. Turn on ignition and place a pressure gauge on the valve and you will get the result.

in all honesty if you dont know where the fuel rail is then dont even attempt anything because you are more likly to mess more stuff up or get wrong parts and what not so go take it to a mechanic. but if you really want to know where the fuel rail is its on top of your engine more to the right side it pretty much is a metal rail that will have a bike tire nipple end on the tube which is where you would hook up the pressure tester which you can also just press with a screwdriver or something to see if you have any fuel. but again dont try to figure anything out yourself if you dont have any knowledge in car mechanics because what may be a 20 dollar fix can be turned into a couple hundred dollar fix.
