i would say 24 mpg on highway 18-20 city. i have a jeep wrangler it is a 1999. you could find out by filling your tank then adavage it out or go to a jeep site.

My 96 Grand Cherokee with 4.0L straight 6 engine and I average 26MPG mix of city and highway. Fill your gas tank, and write down the mileage that you start from after your tank is filled. Then the next time you fill up write down the ending mileage, subtract the ending mileage from beginning mileage and then divide that answer by the number of gallons that you just put in.

You will probably get about 16 on average. Give or take 1 mpg for 4x4. As far as the guy saying 26..... well um all I can say is either he only drives it down hill or he is BS'ing you. Go to edmonds.com and get the EPA rating and I can assure you even brand new they didnt get that.

I own a 95 Grand with the 4.0 and I get about 14 because I have a lead foot, and thats with a cold air intake highflow cat and exhaust.
