I'm looking into buying a vehicle.I have my eye on a Jeep.Just wanting to know how all the Jeep Liberty owners like theirs?

Step back and examine your position. Here is my experience with a Liberty Limited 4 wheel drive.
Ball joints went out at 32,000 miles
Engine computer failed at 51,000 miles.
Car was top heavy and unstable at freeway speeds.
Short wheel base made it ride like a roller coaster.
I traded it for a Ford Explorer 4x4 and have been happy ever since. 72,000 miles event free.

I am a mechanic in a Jeep dealership, i have been around the Liberty since it replaced the Cherokee i have seen enough to make me never want one.
Lower ball joints have been a problem
engine computers
oxygen sensors
brake calipers
an occasional transmission
squeaks
rattles
I would give the Jeep Compass a look its still relatively new but seems good and the Jeep Patriot may be worth a look.

i agree i owned a 2005 and it was in the shop literally 2 whole months out of the 2 years i had it
