hi. I have a 5 series535i modle 1988 and i replace the transmission the problem the same bmw with an automatic transmission. Recently, the car doesn't shift right. Sometimes it doesn't shift after first or second gear, and even when it does , it shifts very late, past 3-4000 Rpm. But sometimes it shifts perfectly, i don't understand this. in general, in cold weather bmw's shift later than normal , at about 3000 rpm when the engine is still cold.. Now, i have a cooling system problem, the water temp gauge stays cold, it should be in the middle (warm) but its a quarter of the way in the cold section. Could this be related to the trans problem? thanks a lot for any info.

i have a 99 dodge dakota 3.9L v6 and i'm loving the snow right now cuz every parking lot has a crap ton of snow, and i like the doughnuts baby!!! will too much of this hurt my tranny or rear end though? i'm not giving it full gas maybe 1/3 to 1/2, but i have the rear end that when u floor it, only one tire spins, you know... like the differental that the outside tire spins faster when turning... what is that called again? and will doughnuts hurt?

does anyone have red-tinted windows on their car? I have a red 86 Camaro and it has red tinted windows and spinners...is that too much? are red tinted windows even legal(in VA)? and are red-tinted windows considered to be cool? I just got the car over the weekend but I haven't drove it yet...my dad gave the car to me, it was just sitting out there with about 7 other old cars....

Do Headers change the sound of your car? Do they make your car sound deeper? Also, does anyone know where I can find a cheap set of headers that fit my 1996 Honda Civic with a D16Y7 motor. (4-Door). One last question, do they make your car noticeably faster?

When we purchased the above "gas-pig" we never received a manual. I need to find the fuse box? Simple you think, NOT REALLY!!! I need help getting the heated seats fixed and would rather my boyfriend fix it than pay a dealer a gazillion dollars, and yes, I have asked them more than once to order me a manual to solve the problem. Does anyone have any idea where the fuse box is, and please, no insulting answers cause I'm not as stupid as the question sounds!! Thanks for all the help!
