the car has 137,000 miles on it and is constantly breaking... the latest was the rear pass. strut... is this car worth the trouble to keep fixing? (I have stuck over $2000 into it and i purchased it for, and am still paying off, $3000)

if this is fact by now you have spent enough on it to overcome it's major shortcomings (spelled DODGE) and it should go for another year or two before something major happens. This should give you your break even payback. The biggest prob with them is that they blow head gaskets like a hoe on hollywood and vine on a friday night. If you had yours done then the other stuff should be normal wear and tear, remember the car is almost ten years old and as an entry level sedan (cheap crap) it wasn't designed for the long haul. Don't feel bad, no Chrysler products are, they have snazzy designs to keep suckering in the general public and no mas when it comes to reliability. The aerage life of a new var has gone from ten to six years in the last two decades and the carmakers know it.

My mother-in-law owns one, and I'm continuously fixing it. Waste of money to keep it. She also has $3000 left to pay off, so she's stuck with the car as well. My opinion, the car needs to be written off....

The local blue book says it is only worth $12-1400.

i have one too, and it's garbage. sorry. the older ones suck...maybe the newer ones do too.
