it on the motor, find the water hose coming from the top of the radiator going to the motor

When you are facing the engine with the hood open it is on the right half of the motor. Look for a radiator hose about 1.5" across then follow it back to a domed shaped aluminum housing on the engine. The thermostat is under that housing.
