I'm considering converting my 2006/'06 Ford Fiesta 1.25 to run on LPG. Has anyone else had this done on this particular model and/or experience of LPG conversion?

To add a bit more detail - the conversion would be a spare wheel well type and the cost of converting is about £1,800.00. I'd like to know other people's experiences of the conversion process and running an LPG car...

It possable but if you do the conventional tank in the boot conversion you wont have a boot left.

Also it will take a very long time to recoup the cost on a 1.25 Fiesta, LPG is a better idear on big kit like V8 Land-Rovers

Had it done on a Ford escort 1:6 finesse 06 plate at a cost of £1300;00p before conversion i was getting around 38mpg in town and 46 on a long run.I now get about 60 in town and 72 on a run and it only cost 36p per litre to fill up yes i did lose a bit of boot space but not much as they took a fair bit of padding from the side of the boot.
