I currently have a 96 Contour, and this is the worst car I have ever owned.. The dealership where I bought said they will swap it out for me with a 96 Dodge Intrepid.. Im thinking about, but wondering if there decent cars, and if anyone could add any input.. Thanks in advance..

I sent my son out to search for a good used car. He thought he was getting a killer deal by way of a 91 maxima for only $650. Later my daughter tells me the guy selling it was wearing sunglasses at night and talking about how he needed money to pay off some guy for last deal..so we have dubbed the car tweakermobile. The thing was leaking oil so we've spent $250 on getting gaskets replaced. Alternator was bad, another $55 for a used one. Now we find out timing belt job mechanic says will be $550, tranny is no good that will be about $1200 and still not passing smog due to exhaust problem. why is the story of the magic beans coming to mind? The car looks great, black with sunroof, so that's $2700 not including however much that exhaust deal will be. So I'm trying to decide if I should cut my losses now, or since I'm a big maxima fan myself(have owned 3 but all 80's models and ran them way over 300,000 mark but I did maitence and these folks obviously didn't) Car has 205,000 miles on it.

I recently bought a 1999 Toyota Corolla VE. It is a very low end model and doesn't even have an indash clock, just a little plastic plate where it is supposed to be. I took it apart and looked behind it and all the wires and connectors are there, but no clock. Where Can i find one? I have looked everywhere online and in some tear and take auto junkyards, but I can't find one. Any help? Thanks

i want to know if i can make my ho slot car go faster (on a very low budget) so far i got it to go about 8-10 mph faster ... i think ... but i want it to go a lot faster and also i have a older designed one that i want to keep on the track because it keeps flying off of the track at any turn evin at its slowist speed!

I have had this car for a couple of years now. I have recently noticed that the car pulls to the right side when I brake. The brake pedal also feels soft and spongy at times requiring more effort to brake, and then it feels normal at times as well. I also noticed the front right tire has been wearing out alot faster than the other tires, the brake pad on this same tire wears out really fast too. I have replaced the caliper and rotors but the problem still persists. Could my problem be an alignment problem, master cylinder problem, or the main brake module? I would think that if it was the break module the entire brake system would fail. My stepdad also suggested that the wire from the brake module leading to the caliper be replaced. Any answers would be appreciated.

I want a used older model Jeep. Im looking at the 1990-1994 range. I think they look really cool and they seem fun! Has anyone had bad experiences/good experiences with this vehicle? Also, do they come in automatic and if its a hard top is there a way to make it a soft top(sorry if that is a dumb question... I really dont know) Do you know of a good website to buy after market products for the Jeep?? THANKS!
