You don't pull the bulb from the outside. Open the trunk and you should see a panel you take off. You will find the bulb(s) in there.

i own a shop,and look and see if this one has two screws in it,if it does just remove those and the cover will come right off of it,if not look in behind it,and you may just be able to reach up,and twist the socket away from the light,,and you can get to the bulb that way,I'm pretty sure though that these can be done from out side by removing the lens from it,good luck,i hope this helps.
