I have had this car for a couple of years now. I have recently noticed that the car pulls to the right side when I brake. The brake pedal also feels soft and spongy at times requiring more effort to brake, and then it feels normal at times as well. I also noticed the front right tire has been wearing out alot faster than the other tires, the brake pad on this same tire wears out really fast too. I have replaced the caliper and rotors but the problem still persists. Could my problem be an alignment problem, master cylinder problem, or the main brake module? I would think that if it was the break module the entire brake system would fail. My stepdad also suggested that the wire from the brake module leading to the caliper be replaced. Any answers would be appreciated.

If it was me,I would have the front brake hoses checked,if the hoses are plugged up or breaking apart on the inside, that can cause one side to work harder to get your car to stop, because not enough brake fluid is getting to the cailpers. This would cause the pads to wear at a faster rate on one side.Hope this helps.

First, alignment will not affect the braking. It sounds like you have a collapsed brake hose. That will cause the pulling and wearing out of pads. The tire wearing is alignment, but brakes and alignment don't interfer with each other.

ok if the tire wears out it is an alignment issue.did the caliper get bled sounds like air in the system. ive changed these before and sometimes its hard to get all the air out. be sure only fluid comes out not air or bubbles.the master cylinder is fine. could be the equalizer block wearing if you only have two lines off the master cylinder.

Actually it sounds like the left front brake is the issue and the right one is doing all of the work.
