i have a 2003 ford focus and for the past two days i can stick my key in the ignition but it wont budge from there i cant turn the key over to start the car. sometimes if i play with it for like ten minutes it will start but now it isnt budging. and everytime i try to use the sterring wheel or brake both of them lock up.. its really frustrating does anyone know what is wrong?

Why do people spout on about buying only Fords or Chevys when Honda and Toyota have many factories in the United States, providing jobs and feeding money into the American economy. Isn't it just as, or even more so, American to drive Honda or Toyota, because they provide jobs to Americans?

I know that you have to change the pitch of your driveshaft if you go to high with a suspension lift. I have 3 inches of suspension lift on right now. if i add some body lift will i have to change the pitch of my driveshaft?

What causes the check engine light to come on? Mine came on, I thought it was because I haven't had an oil change for a while (which has happened before, and then the light resets itself after a while), well this time it didn't turn off. What could be causing it to come/stay on? My car has been running like normal. Any suggestions?

i put in a new battery and autonator on a 1990 chevrolet lumina. the car ran fine before, now runs ruff. computer need to be rest and i need to no how to do this?i have been told to disconnect thepcm for 10seconds, i do not no what the pcm is? and can the battery be disconnected to do this same thing?. is the pcm located on the computer box? if so which wire is to be disconnected?

I have a 96 Mustang GT Convertable which is used for my 100 mile round trip to/from work. It has accumulated close to 110,000 miles and in the past year has been high maintenance. I installed a new roof; new brakes; new clutch; new struts;new rotors; new callipars;new exhaust manifold; tires; and alignment. It seems that each month, I invest an average of at least $300 into this piece of sh*t and I'm considering trading it in for a more economical car. Thanks in advance for honest feedback.

We bought our Cirrus new and the brakes squeak all the time. We have ahd the car serviced right on time and ti is well maintained. When we get new brakes the dealer says "This will fix it" but 24 hours later the squeaking starts agin. when it's rainy or snowy, it is continual and unbearable! We love the car but what's with the brakes?! We are in BC, Canada.

I found one with 84k miles, for $13,888. It looks like new, fully loaded with leather. Has the 5.3 ltr Vortec. Its seems like a good deal from what im seeing others go for, but has been reduced a time or 2. I put about 50k miles a year on my vehicals.

Water Pump seems to be fine (just replaced it). The thermostat is opening and closing like it should. Temperature is fine at idle and at operating speeds.

There is no return coolant coming back out of the heater core.

What would cause this to happen?

Why would it idle fine, and then when you put in gear it trys to die? just put in new fuel filter and spark plugs. temperature gauge doesn't register anything, but vents put out hot air when heater is turned on. electric intake. runs fine in warmer weather. current outside temperature is about 10 degrees F

I can't shift out of park. There is a little black switch on the upper-right corner of the gear shift that I thought was the override, but this doesn't seem to have any effect--it pulls out instead of moving down. Any help would be appreciated!

I am getting a 2001 Dodge Neon and It will be a 5 speed, but the only problem is I can't really drive 5 speed. I have a problem when I come to a complete stop and then I am about ready to go again and the car just stalls on me, what am I doing wrong?
