Nissan Xterra Anti-Slip noise?

When the anti-slip from the Vehicle Dynamics Control (VDC) kicks in on my 2005 NIssan Xterra Off-road, it makes what a weird grinding noise. Is this common?

i don't know man...my pathfinder did that and it wasn't good.

That is the abs pump and the VDC system working and is normal. By the way you own one of the most capable off road trucks.
