If you have replaced the bulb and it still doesn't work try this. When you open the door, look at the door jamb where the door latches when closed. There should be an L-shaped piece that slides. Manually slide it back and forth and see if it turns on.
If it does, it means that its either too dirty for it to move, or the spring lost its elasticity (sp?). It's a simple fix, slide the piece back, remove the Philips head screw that appears. Take out the piece and clean it. Reinstall and see if it works. If it doesn't, just go to the junkyard and take one off any Honda, they're pretty much the same. Then just replace it.

Replace the ECM intregrated control module unit, part # 38600-S01-A1. if replacing the switch on the door doesn't work. Its located on the fuse panel top side

Most common problem is the drivers door ajar switch is defective (located around the door latch striker). It is very easy to replace and the part is cheap.
