Remember this car has to pass smog test.The best way to get more power,is to buy a car with a big engine already in it.

Do you mean Carb.If so a study was done and the set up GM had on that engine was very good.Road and Track I think did the study.They tried 4 or 5 different carbs and intake and only found 5 or 10 horse power grains with 2 carbs and horse power losses with the others .stick with what you got and save your money.good luck hope I helped

Replace stock air cleaner with open element type-(Difficult to do given major space considerations) but very possible. Next replace Stock cat converter with highflow design(many adapters may be in order) and replace muffler with highflow muffler to finish .High octane gas is mandatory if you disable E.G.R system. Any mods beyond this destroy performance. One exception is rear gear ratios. 373's work best for street use. Wide rubber is a must with this gear ratio.

jegs.com, summitracing.com. if smog tests are not your problem get new intake, carb, cam, headers that will bring out an easy 100 horsepower. get trans shift kit the possibilities are endless just depends on the size of your wallet as to how fast you want your car.
