Im driving my grandparents 2003 Chevy 2500 HD truck. Its a diesel. Im in extremely cold weather. I just tried to start it and it ran for a little bit but then I could get it started after that. Cant I plug in an extension cord to keep the truck warmed up or keep the glow plugs warm?

I have a 2003 Dodge Dakota reg cab with the 4.7liter V8. It came with 245 70 16 tires. How can I tell if my rim is 16x7 or 16x8. I know that both were avalible for the Dakota.

Just replaced the alternator my car, after reconnecting the battery I get power but it will not start. According the the repair manual it is the anit-theft mode and requires the activation code to be input thru the stock radio. I replaced the radio, but still have it I think, do I need to have the original deck that it came with? Is there some number besides a dealer I can call? We bought the car used for our daughter and after a $400 replacement key experience would perfer not to go to a dealer. Any manual that might help me?

In reverse, it makes a similar noise. I think this year jetta has a hydraulic clutch. I don't know if this problem is something to do with the clutch or if it's a transmission problem.

why do all the other countries think our cars stink? yes i actually do agree that foreign cars are better than our cars, but our cars aren't that bad. we are getting more fuel efficient, and way better at the engine and style. we are also putting in more electronics like navigation, some voice activation but not much, and we are making our cars safer. so why do people still criticize our cars?

I have a 1999 Toyota RAV4 and the Toyota Dealer where I have my maintenance done has told me that I need to have the " Timing Belt " replaced because the RAV4 almost has 90,000 miles. Do I need to have the Timing Belt replaced? What could possibly happen if I don't have it replaced? What are the benifts of having it repaced, such as improved gas milage?

I want to change my 64 Chevelle from front drum brakes to front rotors.
I already have a 71 Camaro that I thought may be a donor.
The Camaro has factory front rotors on it
Will the rotors fit just by removing the ball joints and installing them onto the stock Chevelle a-arms?
Or do I need to install the Camaro a-arms, springs, etc to the Chevelle?
Will any option work? Thanks
