In the market for new red wheels, got 320d, but tempted my A4 tdi 1.9. Pro and cons pls

I own an Audi A4 TDI 150 Sport and it has proved to be a quality vehicle for the past two years. It is very reliable, has a high quality interior and exterior, lots of torque and is economical to run. I have tried the BMW 320d Sport and although it was great to drive I found the overall impression of the Audi better.

I think it depends what you are looking for.
I love Audi's, always have! I think they make great looking cars, & the A4 is no exception. I think their interiors are second to none, in terms of quality & ease of use.
That said, I think the BMW diesel is superb, smoother & more refined. In addition I think the handling/ride of a BMW is also better than the Audi.
Tough choice. Might be the only way to decide is take the Audi for a test drive & see for yourself.

BMW great Build quality. Technology side is a bit dated. Interiors generally drab. Resale values are good. Xtras cost a fortune if buying new if not make sure u know what the cars got fitted.
A4 Better and more up to date technology. Interiors better. Better drive. Resale values are good. Most xtras come as standard (to a point) Would be faster and more economical when it comes to MPG.
Get the AUDI!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Get the Audi, it has great build quality and is better looking than the BMW. BMW has lost its head in recent years.

Although i own and work on Audi given the choice of models i would pick the BMW320.D altogether more sporting although the build quality is inferior to Audi's.Have a good new year Mick UK.

Audi wins my vote. So much more sophisticated. I am after audi a4 convertible...if i had the cash!

I say A4, its a much nicer looking car, but my husband says BMW because it's quicker...
I say its more about getting the balance between the look and the speed, you don't wanna race past someone and them think fast but butt ugly do you? :) xx

A4......... you can't go wrong with an Audi! Plus they look so much better than a Beemer, and Beemer's are soooooooo common it's unbelievable.

I've had five Audi's and two BMW's.The Audi's are just nicer cars to live with.
